NextGen Safety Protocols

Your Safety is our priority

You are invited to our indoor children’s programs. We currently offer programming on the 1st four Sundays of each month. We will communicate with you about possible NextGen happenings that take place on 5th Sundays.
Children infants through 6th grade are welcome.
Be sure to check back here for updated information and look for us on social media.

If you want to be notified if there are COVID exposures at New Life, please fill out our Request Form.

If you have a COVID exposure, please use our Confidential Reporting Form or contact us by phone or email (707) 765-0956, info@newlifepetaluma.com.  All responses are strictly confidential and we appreciate your help in keeping our church community safe.

Here's what you can expect on a NextGen Sunday:

  • All families will check in at the First Time Kiosk

  • Name tags will be created for each child

  • Families will be guided to their child’s room

  • For security, children will remain in their rooms for families to pick up after service

You can fill out our Registration form to get a head start on checking your children in. There is no obligation by simply filling out the form. You can do it when you arrive as well.

Additional safety measures:

  • Our NextGen is a super fun, high energy space with singing, laughing and a lot play. All this fun can equal higher risk of transmission. As of March 1, masks are optional, but highly recommended and will be made available if needed.
  • All volunteers are asked to complete a health screening each morning before arriving.
  • Hand sanitizer will be available. Bathrooms will be open & sanitized.
  • Toys and high touch areas are sanitized after each use.
  • HEPA filtration systems are cycling and cleaning the air in our large auditorium prior and during services.
  • If you or your child are not feeling well or are experiencing any cold or flu-like symptoms or are waiting on a pending COVID test, please stay home for your health and the health of others.
  • If we have more than 5 confirmed COVID exposures in one week, we will temporarily pause our in person NextGen gathering in order to keep everyone healthy.  If NextGen in-person services are paused, we will update our website and social media pages asap.
