JOIN US FOR A MISSION TRIP TO MEXICO

New Life partners with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) to build homes for at-risk families in Mexico. We are also able to partner with other local groups such as the Women's Shelter, Mujeres Nuevo Comienzo that we have worked with for many years. No experience is necessary for either service opportunity, but each will be sure to give you an experience you will never forget. Together we can make a difference!

This is a whole church project. You can participate by contributing towards the materials to build the houses or with the other local causes we support. For those going on the trip, they pay their own way — $400/per person plus airfare, or about $700.  A $200 deposit is due with your completed application at the beginning of February. We've put together an FAQ sheet with additional information,

When a family in mexico receives a home:

  2. Children of parents who own a home are 3 times more likely to stay in school than those who don't.
  3. Health benefits: Home ownership reduces respiratory diseases and other sicknesses.
  4. Socio-economic health: It changes the parents' and children's outlook on the future.
  5. Spiritual Impact: People are ministered to with the two handed gospel - physically and spiritually.

Our vision at Mujeres Nuevo Comienzo (MNC) is to provide a safe home to abused, abandoned and shattered women and their children with a desire to see them experience healing through a personal encounter with God. In helping women discover their value and purpose in life and cultivating confidence in themselves, women are encouraged and empowered to pursue restoration and restructuring of their families.
