Inspired to Take Action?!?
The Global Outreach Team was developed specifically to help prepare and send people on outreach missions. We believe in supporting New Lifers to go where God calls them to go, to send them in fully prepared to help those in need while being sensitive to the local culture, and to be able to share God’s love through helping hands and caring hearts.

There are four areas the GO Team handles which include

  1. Researching Mission Involvement
  2. Short Term Mission Training (preparing leaders and participants for the destination and the group dynamics)
  3. Raising Congregational and Partnership Awareness
  4. Simplifying Missions Communications for our PastorsGO Team Involvement – The GO Team is always looking for new members whom the Lord is leading to contribute towards our four purposes.

Contact the GO Team Leader to discuss how you can contribute.

We have partnered with Kerala Christ Church Mission in southern India since our inception in 1998. Pastor Ron, our founding pastor, has had a relationship with Kerala’s founding pastor, John Gabriel, for more than 4 decades. New LIfe has sent short term mission teams to India to help teach pastors, worship leaders, children ministry leaders, and women’s leaders. We have completely funded the construction of 2 church buildings that included living quarters for the pastor and his family, and also funded a cemetery next to one of those church buildings. Additionally, many of our New LIfers have sponored children in the KCCM’s Orphanage.

We have partnered with Foundation for His Ministry in Baja California, Mexico via YWAM, for over a decade by sending teams down to Mexico to build houses for needy families and by helping in their orphanage. We have dentists, hair sylists, and other professionals going down to offer their services to the people in and near the migrant farmworkers town of Vincente Guerrero, Baja California.

Our Lakota Mission Team visits the Pineridge Reservation in South Dakota partnering with the Church of the Good Shepherd. Projects include rebuilding homes, helping in the orphanage, and fostering personal and spiritual growth. Extra care is given as we share the truth and love of the gospel in ways that are sensitive to the heritage of our Native American friends from the Lakota Tribe.

We actively participate with Rebuilding Together Petaluma each spring to help the elderly and disadvantaged in our community in repairing their homes. We gather teams of people each year and have done everything from landscaping, to building fences, to repairing roofs, to completely renovating bathrooms. As we work on the job, we bond as workers, bless needy families, and have a great time sharing Christ’s love.

New Life also has a group of people that partner with the Redwood Gospel Mission in Santa Rosa. Once a month we send a preaching and worship team to lead a worship service for those who eat and live there. Others help in the kitchen and still others sponsor and mentor people who are working to get clean and sober and get off the street.

IVCF – Inter Varsity Christian Fellowship is a Christian based college community that focuses on winning people for God during one of the most influential times in a person’s life. While so many other things vie for the attention of college students, IVCF has an effective and growing presence on many campuses throughout our nation. We partner with them as they focus on providing small group Bible studies and large group gatherings to students, with a goal of bringing thoughtful discipleship and a life-changing environment to campus life.
